Police are investigating the "unexplained" death of a teenage boy who died just days before the New Year.

Officers and ambulance crews were called to an address in Saddleton Road, Whitstable, at 9.10pm on Monday, December 29, following reports the youngster had become unwell.

He was taken to a local hospital by but medics were unable to revive him.

Police say his death is being treated as non-suspicious and unexplained.
