Thanet Way closed near Whitstable after two-car crash at Yorkletts

Three women have been taken to hospital after a two-car crash closed a busy coastal route.
Police were forced to shut the coastbound Thanet Way following the incident, which happened close to Yorkletts just before 11.30am.
One woman was trapped in a vehicle and firefighters used hydraulic rescue equipment to cut her free.
An ambulance spokesman confirmed three women were taken to the William Harvey Hospital in Ashford following the accident.
They were all fully conscious with two - aged in their 20s and 30s - suffering from suspected pelvic injuries.
Another, in her 60s, was complaining of chest and neck pain.
Queues stretched back towards the Brenley Corner roundabout near Faversham.
Fire crews were called at 12.10pm.
Drivers were told to avoid the area.
