Whitstable to get first 24-hour gym as Snap Fitness to launch at John Wilson Business Park

A town is set to get its first 24-hour gym this summer.
Franchisee Kunal Patel is set to launch his fifth Snap Fitness at the John Wilson Business Park in Whitstable.
Radio House was previously the home of the Kent branch of Heart Radio before the studio’s closure in 2019.
But the building will now be transformed into Snap Fitness spread across three floors featuring modern equipment.
And bosses say the new 24-hour gym will launch in August.
Kunal Patel, who also owns the Snap Fitness site in Herne Bay, said: “We are extremely excited to be able to open two gyms in neighbouring towns to inspire and nurture the wellbeing of such a special community.”
There will be free group exercise classes, a recovery area featuring massage guns and free on-site parking.
Mr Patel added: “We are a family-owned business ourselves and with this now being our third location in the Kent area.
“We are most excited to create a hub for the local community to focus on their mental and physical wellbeing.”
Snap Fitness has 97 franchised gyms across the UK and Ireland, with more than 1,000 locations globally.
Membership at the Whitstable branch is expected to cost about £34.
