Drama in Whitstable as car smashes through shop front

This was the dramatic scene after a car ploughed into the front of a shop this morning.
Emergency services were called to the scene of the incident on the corner of Oxford Street and Nelson Road in Whitstable where there were long traffic tailbacks.
The black BMW crashed into Chappell Contemporary and, according to eye witnesses, the male driver was attended to by paramedics.
Oxford Street is closed and long queues of traffic, including buses have built up in all directions.
An eyewitness said: "It's chaos.The car has gone right through the front of the shop."
A police spokesman said: "Officers were called to the scene at 9.45am and crews from the South East Coast Ambulance Service and Kent Fire and Rescue Service also attended.
"A man was taken to a local hospital.
"The road was closed but reopened again at around 12.40pm."
