Two burglary arrests after pair attacked in Seasalter, Whitstable

Suspected burglars have been arrested after allegedly attacking two people inside a home.
Police are now appealing for witnesses who may have seen anything suspicious around the time of the incident in Seasalter, near Whitstable.
Two men are said to have entered a house in Lucerne Drive at about 9.45pm yesterday before assaulting two people inside, and leaving the scene.
Nothing is believed to have been stolen and no serious injuries were reported.
A 35-year-old man and a 27-year-old man, both from the Canterbury area, have been arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary.
Detectives believe a small gold or yellow car, thought to be a Volkswagen Fox, is linked to the offence.
