Two men charged after pair attacked inside home in Seasalter, Whitstable

Two men have been charged with aggravated burglary after two people were attacked inside a home.
Police were called to a report of a break-in at a house in Lucerne Drive, Seasalter, near Whitstable.
Two people were reportedly assaulted in the home during the incident, which happened shortly after 9.30pm on Thursday.
Nothing is believed to have been stolen and no serious injuries were reported.
Officers attended and subsequently made two arrests before issuing an appeal for information.
Detectives charged Wesley Baker, 35 from Shalmsford Street, Chartham and Luigi Palmieri-Willis, 27 from Long Acre Close, Canterbury with aggravated burglary with intent and three counts of assault.
They both appeared at Folkestone Magistrates’ Court on Saturday where they were remanded in custody to appear at Canterbury Crown Court on September 5.
