A woman has been taken to hospital after being pulled from the sea in Whitstable.
Emergency services were scrambled to the seafront following reports of a woman who had been pulled to shore at about 7.40pm on Sunday.
South East Coast Ambulance Service sent one ambulance and three other vehicles to the scene of the incident, near The Lobster Shack on the east quay.

This morning, Herne Bay Coastguard posted on Facebook: "Herne Bay Coastguard Rescue Team and Margate CRT were tasked by Dover Coastguard operations centre to assist Kent Police search for a despondent female believed to be in the Whitstable harbour area.
"As the Herne Bay team arrived on scene information was received that the casualty had been pulled from the sea and was in the care of the police and paramedics.
"Once established that all persons were out of the water and the casualty was safe, the Coastguard units stood down."
Police have been contacted for more information.
