Woman hit by vehicle at Old Bridge Road roundabout near Belmont Road, Whitstable

A woman has suffered head and leg injuries after she was knocked down.
The lady, reported to be in her 20s, was hit by a vehicle just before 9am today on Old Bridge Road in Whitstable - by the roundabout which joins the residential street to Belmont Road and Millstrood Road.
Police and ambulance crews were called to the scene.
A police spokesman said the victim suffered head and leg injuries, though there are "no major concerns".
She was taken to the William Harvey Hospital in Ashford.
