The family of a Whitstable man who suffered life-threatening injuries in a motorcycle accident are appealing for help to cover huge medical costs.

The 22-year-old was rushed to hospital and underwent brain surgery and treatment to repair his fractured skull with titanium pins.

Luckily, Jack should make a full recovery, but now faces medical bills of around £10,000.

His family and friends are now appealing for help to cover the costs of Jack's treatment and friends have set up a Go Fund Me site.

So far they have raised £760 in just seven hours.

On the site, they say: "Due to the severity of the injuries and the life saving treatment he underwent, the medical costs are extremely high at an estimated £10,000.

"We are doing all we can to help his family out with covering the costs for the bill, but there is a very long way to go to raise this amount.

"If you would like to help and donate to help Jack and his family, then please give anything you can here. Anything, no matter how small will be gratefully received and will make a huge difference."
