Whitstable Town winger John Ufuah has taken the opportunity to step up a level with a move to another Kent club.
The 21-year-old has joined Isthmian League, Premier Division side Margate.
Former Dartford academy player said: “I would like to thank the fans, players and management for all their support.
“I really enjoyed my time at the club throughout the season and I wish everyone the best moving forward.”
Margate manager Jay Saunders, speaking to the club's website, said: "He is a young lad with bags of potential and offers us something to different to what we had last year. He’s quick, direct, hard-working and can score goals.”
Following his Departure from Whitstable, manager Lloyd Blackman said: "It’s a fantastic opportunity for John and I’m personally delighted for him.
“It’s a great opportunity for him to play at the step 3 level and I expect to see him flourish.
“He made an immediate impression on me and the team and we’ll be sorry to see him go. He is an excellent prospect and one who will always be welcome back at the Belmont.”
Ufuah scored four goals in the 2019/20 season and claimed seven assists. He joined the Oystermen in September from Leatherhead and made 34 appearances.
