Drug driving arrest as weapons and cash found following house search in Old Dover Road, Canterbury

Weapons, a large amount of cash and drugs have been seized following an arrest in Canterbury.
Officers stopped a car in Station Road East on Friday afternoon and arrested a 24-year-old man on suspicion of drug driving and possession of Class A drugs with intent to supply.
Subsequent searches of a property in Old Dover Road then led to officers seizing a number of other items.
A significant quantity of drugs, weapons and a large amount of cash were all discovered.
The arrested 24-year-old, who was stopped by police near Canterbury East station at about 1.30pm on Friday, has been released under investigation.
The force says inquiries are ongoing.
