Steven John Woods to appear in court accused of growing cannabis plants at his home in Claremont Street

A suspected drug dealer will appear in court after policed seized cannabis plants from a house in Herne Bay.
Officers went to the house of Steven John Woods in Claremont Street in Herne Bay on April 29. They charged the 41-year-old with using electricity without authority and producing cannabis.
He has been bailed and will face the charges at Canterbury Magistrates’ Court on Monday, May 11.
Officers also charged Abigail May for two counts of fraud by false representation and one count of theft.
The 39-year-old, also of Claremont Street, is accused of using credit and debit cards believed to have been stolen from a purse in Birchington on April 13.
She will face the charges at Margate Magistrates’ Court on Monday, May 11.
