Kent seems to have avoided any major problems after a warning was issued for stormy weather.
The Met Office earlier announced a large part of the south east would be hit by rain and thunderstorms today.
But, baring flooding causing disruption to train services and a school cancelling its sports days, the worst of the weather seems to have struck elsewhere.
It comes after parts of the county faced the worst flooding in 30 years, when the first yellow warning was issued on Monday, which later became a more severe amber warning.

The bad weather was predicted to continue until 11pm.
Drivers were warned to take care on the roads as travel disruption and further flooding can be expected.
A spokesman from the Met Office said: "Flooding of homes and businesses could happen quickly, with damage to some buildings from floodwater, lightning strikes, hail or strong winds.
"Fast flowing or deep floodwater is possible, causing a danger to life.
"Where flooding or lightning strikes occur, there is a chance of delays and some cancellations to train and bus services.
"Spray and sudden flooding could lead to difficult driving conditions and some road closures.
"Some communities might become cut off if roads flood.
"Power cuts may occur and other services to some homes and businesses could be lost."
