Drivers are being told to take extra care on the roads today, after snowfall made conditions more hazardous.
A weather warning is in place across the whole county, with the east worst affected.
Crews have been out during the night treating the main routes, although the A2 between Canterbury and Dover is particularly hazardous.
The Met Office forecast for the region predicts the snow will die out later in the day.
Snow was expected to affect areas north of London, with temperatures across the region reaching a maximum of 4C.
