Child hit by car in Buckland Hill outside Maidstone Pool and Snooker Club

An 11-year-old child has been hit by a car this morning.
A Kent Police spokesman said: "We were called to Buckland Hill, Maidstone at 8.13am following a collision between a Ford Ka and a child.
"The driver of the vehicle stopped at the scene."
The crash happened outside Maidstone Pool and Snooker Club, opposite Maidstone Barracks railway station.
Police added the child was taken to Tunbridge Wells Hospital with a hip injury but the injuries are not being treated as serious.
