Maidstone: Teenager arrested after laser shone at police helicopter

A teenage boy has been arrested after a police helicopter was targeted in a laser attack over Maidstone.
The National Police Air Service (NPAS) was scrambled from Redhill on Wednesday to help in the search for a missing person.
Just after 10.20pm the chopper was shone at with a laser.
Police went to an address near Bearsted, where they arrested the youth, who cannot be named for legal reasons.
He has been bailed until December 11.
