Maidstone RFC's Head of Playing, Sean Charlton, says club's Intermediate Cup win over Bridgnorth at Twickenham is still to sink in

Sean Charlton is still in shock at Maidstone Rugby Club’s Twickenham triumph.
The Head of Playing saw the County Town club add the Intermediate Cup to their London 2 South East title by beating Bridgnorth in the final last Sunday.
Victory completed an unbeaten season for Maidstone, who are ready to make the most of their increased profile to stay on top in the town rugby scene.
Charlton said: “Winning at Twickenham has caught everyone out.
“It was a special day – there was a lot of emotion. We were playing a good team who
were unbeaten for something like 38 games and we’ve blown them away in the first half.
"How long it takes to sink in, I still don’t know.
“What it’s done is brought the whole club together. We hope it will attract players of all abilities.
“It’s a big club. Aylesford overtook us and rightly so because they were better-run than us. We’ve got to be the major team in the town, which we will be for a little while.”
