A man has been arrested after apparently trying to steal items from a vehicle in Rochester
Police were called out to Foord Street, which is off Delce Road, at about 8.40am after receiving reports a man was trying to steal something from a van parked in the road.
Four police cars were seen in the area at the time and officers arrested the man on suspicion of theft of a vehicle.
He is currently in police custody.
