Fire in bedroom in Canterbury Street, Gillingham

Firefighters are tackling a house fire in a busy residential street.
They were called to the property in Canterbury Street, Gillingham just after 1pm and are still at the scene.
The blaze is in a first floor bedroom and crews wearing breathing apparatus are using a hose reel to put the fire out.
A positive pressure ventilation fan is being used to clear smoke from the house.
There are no reports of any injuries.
