Four young men have pleaded not guilty to murdering a Chatham teenager on a London housing estate.

Andre Aderemi, 19, was found with stab wounds on the Monks Hill estate in South Croydon on August 16 and died later in hospital.

Ali Zahawy, 20, Femi Cela, 19, Jamell Lonergan, 19, and Rodney Mukasa, 20, all entered not guilty pleas when they appeared at the Old Bailey yesterday.

Police appealed for information after the attack and the four men were subsequently arrested and charged.

Cela, of Fryston Avenue, Croydon appeared via video link from Belmarsh prison while Lonergan, of Woodcroft Road, Thornton Heath, and Mukasa, of Green View Avenue, Croydon appeared via video link from High Down prison.

Zahawy, of Bramble Close, Croydon appeared from custody and all four will stand a month-long trial beginning on February 13.

It is believed Andre, who was an amateur rapper, had moved to Chatham shortly before his death and had returned to Croydon to visit friends when he was attacked.
