A nightclub had to be evacuated during the early hours of this morning after an electrical amplifier began emitting smoke inside the venue.
Firefighters were called out to the Tap and Tin in Chatham, shortly after midnight after smoke began to fill the dance floor.
Staff at the venue in Railway Street had managed to get revellers outside the building as firefighters arrived and when crews investigated found the amplifier had not caught alight and was just emitting smoke.
Police were also called to the scene to help get the revellers outside the building safely but after firefighters gave the all-clear they were allowed to go back inside the venue.
