Woman injured near Garrison Point, Sheerness, taken to London hospital

A woman has been taken to a London hospital after an incident at the seafront.
Police were called to the casualty near Garrison Point in Sheerness at 1.25pm.
Officers helped crews from the South East Coast Ambulance Service and HM Coastguard.
It is not clear how the woman, who was taken to King's College Hospital, was hurt.
Sheppey Coastguard confirmed a team was sent to help police and paramedics at Sheerness seafront.
A South East Coast Ambulance spokesman confirmed a crew arrived to assess and treat the casualty before being taken to hospital in a potentially serious condition.
