A Sheppey pharmacy has announced it is to close for good this summer.
Halfway Pharmacy, in Minster Road, Halfway, wrote to customers this week saying it is due to shut on Sunday, June 30.
The closure leaves people living in Halfway without anywhere to pick up prescriptions.
A letter handed to customers as they pick up their prescriptions said: "I am sorry to inform you that Halfway Pharmacy at 8 Minster Road, Halfway, will be closing on Sunday, June 30, 2019.
"We are committed to delivering a seamless service during this period of change."
Patients were advised to use Paydens Pharmacy a mile down the road in Sheerness High Street.
When asked about the closure, staff at the pharmacy, part of the Paydens Group, said that was a question for head office.
Paydens Group, however, refused to comment. The group has a chain of pharmacies across Kent, Sussex and Surrey.
