Part of the Sheppey Crossing was closed this morning due to a broken down vehicle.
Police were called to the bridge at 6.40am to reports of the break down in lane one of the Sittingbourne-bound carriageway.
Drivers reported that a car was blocking one of the lanes just before the crossing, and was causing tailbacks while police worked to recover it.
The vehicle had broken down between Lower Road and Old Ferry Road, and was causing long tailbacks.
The crossing is now open, and delays have cleared.
