Sittingbourne was awash with red and white as the town went mad for England's crucial World Cup match against Slovenia on Wednesday.
While pubs were packed out with fans willing the team to secure a win needed to get through to the next stage of the competition in South Africa, Sittingbourne High Street was almost deserted.
Youngsters at Sittingbourne Community College were allowed leave early and those that were unable to get home had the chance to watch the first part of the match at school.
