Bewl Water: Where to meet Santa for Christmas 2016

15:00, 06 December 2016

Father Christmas flies into Bewl Water for the winter with his elves this weekend.

Santa will take up residence on Saturday, December 10 until Christmas Eve, making some festive dreams come true in his grotto overlooking the lake between 10am and 4pm each day.

For those who pop to the site in the winter, trips on board the Bewl Belle pleasure craft and the Santa Express land train will be on offer.

The café will be open at weekends, also between 10am and 4pm, for coffee, cake and snacks, while the Boathouse Bistro will re-open in the spring.

Andrew Daniells, chief operating officer of Markerstudy Leisure, which owns and operates the park, said: “We are looking forward to welcoming Santa.

"Our first season at Bewl has been hugely exciting and we have great plans for next year – but now we must let Santa get on with his important work here at Bewl.”

Entry to Santa’s grotto at Bewl Water is £8 for children and £3 for adults. A combined treasure hunt cruise on the Bewl Belle and trip on the Santa Express is £5, and trips leave on the hour, between 10am and 3pm.
